How to Make My Go-To Tropical Green Smoothie

I’m always working, and it can be hard to get all of my vitamins and nutrients when I don’t have a ton of time to prepare great food. I’ll be honest, some days all I eat is as snack and some dinner, which is absolutely not good. One of my favorite quick and easy ways to get some extra fruits and veggies into my diet is to make a green smoothie.

My version of this smoothie doesn’t have specific measurements, and that’s because it depends on my mood as well as how much we have in the freezer and how many people are having some. I say just wing it and go with however much of each ingredient feels right to you. This is usually how I make mine!

  • 1 part banana

  • 1 part mango

  • 1 part pineapple

  • As much spinach or kale as I can fit on top in my single serve blender

  • Fill halfway with coconut water or a plant based milk

  • *optional* 1 serving Vanilla protein powder per person

  • *optional* chia seeds

Before you know it you’ll be sipping on a vitamin packed tropical treat. I’m not even kidding this smoothie tastes like a vacation. So sweet and refreshing. You can also adjust the thickness of this smoothie by using less liquid and turn it into a delicious bowl with extra nutrient-packed toppings. If you decide to try it out or switch it up, let me know how it goes!
